1) Ability to play Rupak/Tivra and Ektaal/Adital in equal and double
2) Expansion in the following taalas
Tabla :
Trital: Two kisme, one qaida of Dhati , and three
paltes, including the tihai, two mukhdas,
two tukdas
Jhaptal : quaida of 'teet' its three paltes, tihai,
one kisma, one tukda and two tihai
from Sam to Sam
Pakhawaj : Two parans each in Chautal and Sultan,
one rela (with 4 pltas) and two tihais from
sam to sam.

Notice: 1) Each student has been allotted 15 minutes for
this examination.
2) From this test, the student will have to play all
the instruments with lehra.
3) For the Pakhawaj, the syllabus for the Pakhawaj
will be asked.
1) Playing the course bols in double - 10 marks
2) Definition, reading the bols with rhythm and by tapping
on hands - 10 marks
3) Left to Right Detail - 05 Marks
4) Playing in Trital - 25 marks
5) Playing in Jhaptal - 20 marks
6) General Effect - 05 Marks
