3) Brief knowledge of the following singing styles and singing 
     types
               1) Khayal (delayed-fast)/Drupad
               2) Thumri
               3) Bhajan
               4) Tarana
4) Simple knowledge of independent tabla playing / pakhawaj 
    playing and accompaniment.
5) Characteristics of Tabla/Pakhawaj player.
6) Definition of the following words:
          Farmaishi Chakradhar, tihais (bedam, damdaar), gat, 
          peskar, parne and its different types
7) Tabla:- quaidas of  Trital, Jhaptal and Ektal and its relas.
Pakhawaj:- To write down the relas and parans of Chautal ,
                     Sultan and Dhamar.
8 )      a) Rules for mixing your instrument in tone
          b) Knowledge of tabla of different notes to be used for
              accompaniment of all types of music
a)    Method and reason for applying flour on the left side of

         Pakhawaj: Jhampa, Jhaptal, Basant, Vikram (12 matras), 
                            Dhumali
2) Explain the utility of the following taalas in different types of 
    music
        Ektal, Trital, Dadra, Chautal, Dhamar
3) Tabla:     a) Vilambit Trital and  playing the Mukhade of
                         jhaptaal
                     b) Laggi in Kaharwa, Dadra and hold by taking tihai.
4) Expansion in the following taalas :

       Tritala: a) One Chatustra and one Tisra Jati including four
                         Paltes and thirds
b)    The rela of 'Dhiradhir' with three paltes , a gat, a 
Faramishi Chakradhar, tukda
a)    1,5,9,13 the practice of taking tihais from the
 quantity o to come to an even
Jhaptal : Two qaidas, one rela, three tukdas, three tihais (from 
                sum to sum), two mukhdas, a chakradhar with the 
                ability to play 15 minutes.

                  examination.

           3) For Pakhawaj, the syllabus for Pakhawaj will be asked.
